Overview of Emission Resource Group

Company History

The Emission Resource Group (ERG) story began in 1979 as the Olivine Corporation, headquartered in Washington State, helping to solve the need for waste elimination and remote power supply within the timber and logging industries. The technology early on was basic: burn wood waste to eliminate the waste and in where needed create the necessary heat to drive energy producing generators.

To date we have built over 70 waste processing facilities and waste-to-energy (WTE) plants, utilizing waste from municipal, agricultural, commercial and medical fields.

Along the way, our main combustion chambers & WTE plants have undergone a technological revolution. ERG has designed the next generation of Waste-Recycling and Waste-to-Energy technology, incorporating the best-available-technologies in thermal conversion, with the most efficient, affordable and clean plants in the industry.

With our next generation Waste-Recycling and Waste-to-Energy plants, ERG continues the legacy with over 70 installations around the world handling up to 1,500 TPD  (Tons Per Day) of municipal, commercial, industrial, medical- bio-hazardous and other hazardous wastes. With the use of Envirocare International’s Micro-Mist Scrubber our plants exceed all environmental regulations worldwide for the release of gases and ash.
